These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ZuriPlay Ltd ("ZuriPlay", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the ZuriPlay mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
By registering for an account, downloading the app, or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them.
ZuriPlay provides an educational gaming platform designed for children aged 3–10, accessible through the ZuriPlay mobile application. The Service includes:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible. We will not be liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

You must be the parent or legal guardian of any child for whom you create a profile. By creating a child profile, you confirm this relationship and accept responsibility for supervising that child's use of the Service.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
ZuriPlay is currently offered free of charge. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, or hidden costs.
If we introduce paid features in the future, we will provide clear notice at least 30 days in advance, and you will always have the option to continue using the free tier or cancel your account before any charge occurs.
The ZuriPlay name, logo, app design, game content, graphics, and all other materials provided through the Service are owned by or licensed to ZuriPlay Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. This licence does not include the right to:
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
As the parent or guardian registering on behalf of a child, you consent to our collection and use of your child's data as described in the Privacy Policy. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting the child's profile or your account.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZuriPlay Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, given the Service is currently free, would be zero).
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue before terminating.
Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
